Metal Processes cad facility provides a daily routine service from the point of your order receipt. Each order when received by our administrators is identified by a unique Job number and is referenced with you the customer with your order number, your company name, contact person, and the date that you have requested your delivery.

Our administrators produce a composite Job file for each order identifying on the master front sheet each item that you have ordered by quantity, part description and drawing number together with individual part cards for each of the items ordered.

A simple but effective paperwork order control system.

The Job card files are forwarded to the CAD Office in the date required for process planning, for manufacturing and delivery. The job file is then controlled by one of our CAD Engineers who takes ownership of the file, communicates with the customer should there be problems with the detail content of the order or the electronic drawing files AS dxf’s, dwg’s or an hand drawn detail.

When all aspect of the job file have been scrutinised by the CAD Engineer to his satisfaction and he has filed in all of the control information for its manufacture, the Job file is forwarded to production planning.

Our CAD Engineers also provide a chargeable personal design service.
